SCUBA Reality – February 2022 – Russian beauty Frogwoman Tatjana, wet and shiny as we love her. A skin of smooth glistening neoprene rubber covers her from head to toe. A vintage Fenzy buoyancy vest adds a splash of vibrant colour. Tatjana tries out various full face dive masks, including a British Avon mask from the 1970s! A massive 6799 pictures and 183 videos in the members area!
Part 1 of 3, a cute HD video of Frogwoman Suzi as she talks us through her thoughts and feeling trying on a Interspiro AGA mask for the first time. Zipped up snug and warm in her skintight neoprene rubber wetsuit, with matching hood and booties, warming herself in the sun at the beach, she straps on her full face diving mask, talking us through every moment.
I’m always being asked to film the girls getting into their wetsuits, so finally I got around to asking Frogwoman Sam to show us how she slips into her skin-tight neoprene rubber wetsuit, pulls on her neoprene socks and hood, wriggles her fingers into her tight rubber gloves, straps on her diving knife, compass and depth meter, pulls on her tank and finally her weight belt. Over 10 minutes from start to end!

What Motivates Me?
For those of you who don’t know anything about me, let me tell you of some of the things that inspire and motivate my work.
Code 7… Victim 5 (1964)
I’ve been taking pictures of beautiful Frogwomen since the late 1980s! Originally with a film camera and now a DSLR. Influenced by films from the 1960s and 70s where beautiful women would wear tight form fitting rubber wetsuits, almost always combined with twin-hose regulators and oval dive masks. Not afraid to look sexy in their smooth beavertail wetsuits, with fashionable petal bathing caps protecting their long hair, a vision of these powerful women was burnt brightly into my then young impressionable imagination!
Some of the films that have inspired me: Man’s Favorite Sport, Code 7… Victim 5, James Bond (particularly Thunderball), Fantastic Voyage
As modern diving equipment has evolved it has become much safer and more comfortable to use, but for me at least, it has lost the pure and simple attraction of the vintage gear.
It has long been my goal to revisit those more innocent years, when SCUBA diving was an extraordinary and exciting activity for a young woman, where the diving suits and equipment accentuated the female form. In conclusion, I present to you my life work…

SCUBA Fantasy – January 2022 – With her long slender legs, Frogwoman Tatjana is sitting on the rocks in her tight beavertail jacket. This photo was the inspiration for the costume worn by Gabriella Wright in the 2015 film ‘The Transporter Refuelled’. I was contacted by the costume designer in 2014 after the film director had seen a picture of Frogwoman Tatjana. Ultimately they purchased 5 suits for the film production.
Sadly the sequence was very short in the final film, but Gabriella looks stunning in her SCUBA gear. It’s satisfying to think that a picture I took made a small impact on a feature film.
Bizarrely, that same year I was also contacted directly by Disney. They wanted to purchase 30 silver smoothskin wetsuits for a film production. They needed them within a couple of days. Sadly it just wasn’t doable. I never found out what production they were intended for.

Rubber Interspiro Wetsuit Dive – Frogwoman Tatjana goes for a dive, testing out a rubber Interspiro Divator Mk.2 full face mask. Suited up in her skin-tight smoothskin wetsuit. Chatty Frogwoman Suzi
I have been asked so many times for videos of my frogwomen talking whilst geared up. Most of the girls are quite shy and are not at all comfortable talking to the camera. For many of them English is not their first language. However, British Frogwoman Suzi is more than happy to chat about how she feels in all of the delightful rubbery gear she is wearing. With a microphone mounted in her Ocean Reef full face mask, you can hear every breath she takes as she talks about how she likes to be encased in tight shiny rubber.

Protected under two rubbery layers, smoothskin neoprene rubber wetsuit and a thick vulcanized rubber Viking drysuit. Pretty German Frogwoman Anne gears up and dives in a Poseidon Atmosphere full face mask. Adverse weather conditions mean she’s just as wet out of the water as she is under the water!

I need your help!
If you know where I can get a pair of the pictured yellow boots in any size from EU38 to 41 (UK 5 to 6.5) then please let me know. I’ve been searching for these boots for over 30 years and have never seen a pair for sale. I’d be eternally grateful for any help in locating a pair in good condition! I don’t know who manufactured the boots, but I know they were on sale in the UK during the mid to late 80s.
Poseidon Heavy Gear Dive – Russian Frogwoman Tatjana struggles to get herself into a very heavy Gates AM Pro rubber drysuit. Already zipped up snug and warm, she’s covered from head to toe in shiny, smooth-skin neoprene rubber. Now she needs to make sure that no water will penetrate down to her skin. She seals herself under another layer of thick, heavy rubber. Strapping on a Poseidon full face diving mask and affixing heavy rubber mittens to the suit, she backs into the water for a nice refreshing dive.

Frogwoman Émilie – Technisub at the Beach. Young French Frogwoman Émilie has her very first experience with the classic Technisub full face dive mask. Rubber hoses connect the mask to a vintage Mistral regulator, one hose to supply air, the other for her exhaled breath. Sealed tightly under a waterproof skin of smooth and shiny neoprene rubber, she pulls on a pair of Balco fins before finally affixing the ffm to her face. With every inch of her body covered in black rubber, she needs to cool off, the water looks very inviting!

I remember a very nervous 19 year old girl being dropped off at the location in the South of France by her father. I’m not too sure what she expected, but after chatting a little bit and explaining the shoot process, she started to relax and we could begin work. It always takes a bit of time for new girls to fully relax in front of the camera and Émilie was no exception.
I will always start with easy stuff, beavertail jacket, hair free to blow in the wind, snorkel and mask. Then I slowly introduce heavier gear, full suit, hood, socks, gloves etc. Finally it’s time for the full face masks. By this time the girls are totally relaxed and the whole process has been fun and easy, so they’re not freaked out when their face is hidden behind plastic and rubber. Once they realise they can breathe easily, there is no stopping them! It’s all about building trust.
If you’re professional and respectful, attentive to their needs and explain everything you want, these lovely adventurous girls are more than happy to give all sorts of things a go!
